The body of the bag is crafted from Song brocade featuring the 'Sprawling Grass and Kui Dragon' motif, a pattern that has symbolized auspiciousness and elegance since ancient times. The sprawling, intertwining grasses are continuous and bountiful, while the flourishing branches signify lasting good fortune. The Kui dragon—a legendary creature resembling a dragon—is frequently found on the bronzeware of the late Shang and Western Zhou dynasties. Often depicted with a single horn and one foot, with an open mouth and an upward-curled tail, it is nimble and slender, exuding an archaic and graceful charm.
